They were right tho. Music is always gonna be intertwined with politics and the real world. Disco Demolition Night was basically a movement against black art that happened in the city of Chicago and the creation of House was a direct reaction from that.

I really wish Drake put a garage tune or two here, especially since he already did grime and UK drill. Garage can be mixed with R&B and pop easily, could have had a hit track with a 2-step style.

That’s what all the critics are picking at which is extremely annoying. A lot have given him credit for the new sound (or at least not trashed it) but whined about him not switching up his lyrical content

I mean some of his projects are worthy of a bit of criticism but this s*** right here… I can’t imagine hearing this and not being thoroughly impressed unless my heart was full of hate and preconceived notions

had to give it atleast a day but this really has no outright bad songs on here to me. Weaker songs/songs I might not come back to as much is Overdrive or Flights Booked rn
