Thanks. To be honest, not only will this be Drake's worst-performing album, I don't see any of the songs sticking on the charts except one manages to go viral on TikTok or something (and I kinda don't want that to happen). The songs off the album will perform the way Controlla did where it was played everywhere in the summer of 2016 and every summer since but never even reached the top 10 and didn't see anywhere close to the success One Dance saw on the charts.
Separate from the charts, though, what I see happening is that this album will become very beloved by the same mass public that's s***ting on it right now. You'll see people calling this their favorite Drake album before this time next year. Its commercial success (or lack thereof) likely won't reflect that, but the album will age really well.
well said
Imagine thinking that a 5/10 score on an album is a “mixed” opinion.
When you see critics give reviews, the mixed reviews usually end up with scores between 6 and 7-7.5.
5 and under is bad.
Even on Rotten Tomatoes, an aggregate score of 59% and lower is considered rotten
which is why i say taking scores seriously is silly, instead of paying attention to the actual review.
I can easily say "I like a handful of songs. and i dislike a hand full of songs. i don't like or hate this, so im giving it a half score"
and i can just as easily bring up that metacritic counts a 40/100 a mixed score
You need to touch some grass
Go to his Twitter page and search "Drake." Take screenshots of the tweets you see and post them here so it doesn't seem like I'm making s*** up.
So true! Said this to my sis earlier

I agree but much like WLR i think it's only gonna take a few weeks for people to really appreciate this
calling my name is such a wasted opportunity
the second beats pretty basic but id still kill for drake to rap on a straight house beat like that
dont really care for the first half but i keep replaying the second part

I agree. What I mean is that it'll go from being appreciate to being compared to Drake's best albums as people's favorites. That'll take some time but it'll happen in less than a year.
sounds like a psycho brother
I saw her on my Tinder recently and damn she looks like the type of art hoe that doesn't shower and let her all natural body hair grow out. Hella tattoos now. I think I saw a mustache in a pic

i know that p**** STINK
what tracks are s tier for you?
massive is the only one that comes close but i havent listened much
Massive is the stand out for sure. Sticky is really good but can't shake the Kanye vibes. Flights Booked is great. The album works as a whole. The fact it's less single driven is why it's good imo. Look at IYRT.

Yeah you probably right about that I could see that happening, thanks for the response!

He's just a regular guy on twitter who s***posts like everybody else on twitter.
I s***posts about artists i'm a fan of all the time when I think they released something bad.
He comes across as somebody that doesn't care about Drake one way or the other, just like many other artist.
He's trashed Gambino when he believes he dropped trash music. He praises Gambino when he believes he dropped great music
He trashes Logic when he believes he's dropped bad music.
he praises Logic when he believes he's dropped great music
etc. etc.
Go to his Twitter and ALL HE DOES is hate on Drake, even when it's unnecessary. Can't count how many times I've seen hateful Drake tweets from him get retweeted to my timeline even when Drake doesn't have any new music out/isn't doing anything. He completely loathes Drake. Don't let anyone or anything convince you otherwise.
Oh I know, he’s a weirdo when it comes to Drake

Rotten Tomatoes does this as well

nah there’s a difference when it comes to drake, he makes fat food music reviews and when he does it with drake he goes at him personally and said drake put no effort into his work. on like the first listen, his tweets can be disparaging, from a music reviewer it comes across corny
