nah this is gonna age a lot nicer imo. that brostep s*** was awful and aged badly cos it was a gimmick even skrillex dipped to making pop songs for justin bieber. issue with that brostep it took a great genre and made it very douchebag-y

I think drake has one of the best voices in hip hop, but it doesnt switch over to whatever genre this is

He’s selling out most the biggest artists with a niche surprise album ? . He shouldn’t be able to outsell niggas like the weekend but he is. Even in the same bracket of listens as an awaited Kendrick album

Falling Back is a weird song ngl. Its probably the weakest on here but the production carries it into being a good song. Wasnt feeling his singing on there. It gets better throughout the album though

I’m projecting like crazy here but this might be my album of the decade. It’s the album I wanted ever since Signs dropped and he delivered and then some.

drake has been my favorite artist since TC dropped and he cemented it with NWTS

with that being said, I can't get into this new album at all. The house/dance genre is really not my vibe and I don't think I can "force" myself to like something just because it's by my favorite artist. I did that, to an extent, with Scorpion and CLB.
However, I really do appreciate him finally stepping out of his comfort zone AND giving us a project structured around one specific sound (excluding outro)... but this just isn't it for me

I felt like that was the best way to express my disappointment in the album rather than just coming in here and saying its mid/trash

i wish this album came as a complete surprise as in i didn’t see constant rumours on here and social media about him dropping a project cos whenever that happens you can tell he gonna drop.
