Honestly hard not to see the parallels. I don’t think from sound standpoint they’re similar, but as someone who instantly loved the stark change in direction of 808s and the subsequent retroactive consensus on how people feel about it….there’s no doubt in my mind a lot of people will be settling this project in Drake’s top 3/5 at some point down the road who initially weren’t feeling it
