shaleiroseWhat? It would be racist to label it hip-hop just because a rapper made it (like Hotline Bling winning Best Rap Song and IGOR winning Best Rap Album).
It’s not a hip-hop album, it’s a house/dance album.
There are hip-hop elements on some of the songs, but not enough to call the entire album a rap album

It would be extremely racist and an example of “putting black art in a box” if next year at the Grammys Honestly, Nevermind was nominated for Best Rap Album, because it’s not a rap album.
House music is a black genre, and this is a house album.

Those albums are not hip-hop albums just because the artists making them belong to the genre of hip-hop.
Labeling all of those albums as “hip-hop albums” is just putting those black artists and their black art in a box
