He's done songs like these. Usually only one or two, but they're never called the weakest cuts on an album. You get leaks like Pistols and s*** and people are begging for it wondering why it's not on the album. I can't see how any of these songs would've been the weakest cut on Scorpion or CLB.

Maybe it's because this one of my favorite cuts from GKMC, but I feel like niggas be over exaggerating when talking about that part, ie Fantano. It's a dance track it's not meant to be a crazy hook.

But that's a valid point. If everything sounds too similar next to each other then that's bad delivery.

What Drake did was for the first time in his career really hone in and focus on one sound across the entirety of a project, which is not unheard of. And is a common critique of Drake.
