I like what he does on some of these songs where he purposely starts off with a slower, more reserved verse/hook and then sets up the other rapper on the song to come in and lose their minds. He did it on Life Is Good, Wants and Needs & now Jimmy Cooks. People think he can't just black out but you don't start a track with high energy. S*** has to build. I don't know if it'll be reflected in the album's performance numbers-wise but I know that as time passes and we head further into the summer, this album will become more and more present in our lives outside of us playing it on our devices. It'll be clubs, bars, festivals, BBQs, gyms, etc playing songs off this. Can't wait to experience the album that way.
