his vocals are ass. 99.9% of singers can’t blow like Whitney so idk why you would even bring her up except to be hyperbolic. I really wanted to like this album and I do rank it higher than Scorpion and CLB but s***ty vocals are not it. Drake should’ve gotten some singing lessons. then maybe people wouldn’t have clowned it as hard as they did
Texts Go Green, Sticky, and Jimmy Cooks are the only tracks I feel like I can consistently come back to

This. They're acting like this is Drake's first attempt at singing. We've known Drake's range as a singer since So Far Gone lol. The only complaints I can see are for like the first 2 tracks after the intro. Everything after that is good enough. On this album, Drake actually sings REALLY WELL for his vocal range and how limited of a vocalist he is. He finds a way to make the beats work for him.
People just wanna complain. It's cool if they don't like the album. It's better to just say that instead of coming up with some bogus excuse as to why.
