I mean, I get it. To someone who loves house music, maybe Drake's voice doesn't sound at home to you for an entire project like this.

In general though, we're in an age where we've reached peak music accessibility. That means that we're becoming numb to new music and don't like anything. That's why Drake's albums all age well but get panned initially,IMO.

This the era where you have to really lock in on what you like, and not really dive too deep into people's opinion.

Social Media and the internet has given everyone a voice so everyone feels compelled to have an opinion about something, especially a body of work from someone as popular as Drake. Then, you realize that with someone as popular as Drake, saying his album is good and you like it won't get you as far as saying you dislike it because of x, y, z, you're inevitably going to be listening to the album to try and find what's wrong with the project.
