jeffpesosTBH Hov joint is trash. You’re kinda right about it falling off a bit after that, but to me, the highs are SO high that it makes up for everything else. Nice for what, 8 out of 10, nonstop, emotionless, sandra’s rose, i’m upset, ratchet happy b day, blue tint, in my feelins… and of course, his best and most vulnerable outro yet: March 14. those highs are just too much for me to not believe it’s a strong album

But most lyrical dance music is singing rather than rapping...dance music can also pertain to dancehall which is Drake's zone.
Drake's rapping sound much better on slower, darker stuff. So it would make sense to break out the singing on the 6 songs produced by a dance producer. Just my opinion
