He really was trying to make HIT records. These songs breath, vibe out, and honestly have WAY more interesting things production wise than HOWGH.
Drake is the least interesting thing on this album, but let's not pretend that this isn't HIS album. We let a lot of artists get praised to high heaven for their overall product, and Drake deserves credit for designing and masterminding a fantastically produced and cohesive album
