JonboiI think it was a lil jarring for me cause he used to have good hooks. He never had the best voice. But he knew how to use it. I mean, compare Hold On We’re Going Home to anything off of this.
I think HOWGH and this album are aiming for two completely different goals though.
HOWGH was constructed to be that sing-along pop anthem that can be played at parties, events, weddings, etc.
Honestly, Nevermind is more like house music for the late night/early morning club setting that you’re supposed to get lost in during the nightlife
