singing in French
weeknd invented
Screen shot your response in my drake group chat, we loving this! you officially a real 1 and the best
Of all songs, f***ing Montreal b?????
You've got to be trolling OP. The production on Greece isn't remotely similar to Montreal at all. Montreal by The Weeknd uses more live traditional sounding drums, Greece has standard trap drums (similar sounds to what Pierre uses), synths are different, etc. But hey, this is just another instance of a nigga on KTT2 that hear two songs that have one thing in commom, (singing in French) & runs with a narritive because he doesn't know anything about music.
Saw people complaining about this on Twitter too and I legit can’t see it and i’m a huge fan of both of them. Never got this whole flow stealing s*** even if he did it isn’t like he owns it. 😂
I also find it so funny Drake is the only one people just love calling out for corny s*** like this. Ya’ll really just love to hate the dude huh?

What tracks does weeknd use this cadence

How many songs would I have to link to have you believe it?
Lets try 3
Abel and Drake are by far the two artists I listen to the most and Greece sounds absolutely nothing like Abel.
I don't think Drake on Greece neccesarily sounds like the Weeknd buuut I think the Weeknd could have done the song better? If that makes sense
i think people are comparing drake to Abel because he's clearly trying to emulate his voice lol
Lets try 3
Off the top of my head this reminds me of the beginning of Party Monster and the middle part of What You Need. I think cadence wasn't the right word (my bad) , but the vocal inflection and production give it a feel that is very Weeknd esque.
A lot of times Abel doesn't start his words at the note they end at. They kind of "jump" from an unrecognizable note very quickly into the actual note. It's noticeable if you sing along to the beginning of Often or Six Feet Under for example. You can feel it in your throat lol ( )
He usually also has a really sharp decay on his notes (how quickly a sound dies off) usually in his verses.that's usually done in the production stages.
Both these things pop up in Greece when I can't really recall Drake having songs where the vocals are delivered like this. It's not a bad thing, I think it's a solid song. I also think it sounds like The Weeknd and I'm not really alone
These delusional clowns will say anything 😂. They should be blessed drake put on the weeknd.
