this proves he might have the business and team around him to make a comeback, he obviously still is mad influential to an entire generation of young people. less the fakemink move alone but the wireless fest altogether

it really all depends on how he fairs in american market. we gotta see if iceman is hot and tours well in the states to really know if drake back like he once was

Drake should get back in his tastemaker bag. He'll be accused of being cynical and a colonizer regardless. But this vital freshness has way wider of an appeal than the mafioso lifestyle and rap politics

his diehards will always be there and he has a career that has amassed him p much millions of diehards

but let’s be honest the diff between drake before and after views was how well he did with a massive pop audience. i’m wondering how he will do with people outside of his core fan base. it’s p evenly split gender wise, but does seem to be made up of 22-40 year old rnb and rap fans.

he’s obviously guaranteed to sell, and maybe arena ticket sales isn’t the measure i’m looking for, it’s drake. what im interested in tho is how he’s marketing the next stage of his career, post beef, outside his core audience. kendrick won the beef by staying true to his core (mtg,6pm) while giving the mass market songs that can be taken outside beef context and enjoyed (nlu, euphoria)

really excited to see where he goes from here, i’m just not sure he’ll ever have that same global stardom reach he had from views to end of scorpion era

I honestly don’t think he would get as much backlash for that especially when it comes to euro artists, the cultural similarities between Canada and Europe make it seem more authentic

I think you're underestimating the normie audience that doesn't spend all day arguing on message boards, they are absolutely going to buy tickets to his shows and stream his music. Like people use this as a diss but it's not, he genuinely crossed over and is a huge pop act. Especially if this next project is as good as the new single and is maximalist with a lot of effort put into it
Rap fans like him less now after the last few projects for sure, but that's such a small % of his fanbase it really doesn't matter. And everybody will be tuning in to hear what he has to say after the beef regardless
