Need to know why Abel just doesn’t post anything about Drakes successes, not that he needs to and could do it privately but just find this one sided visible appreciation strange.

I looked on Cash’s insta but didn’t see him post anything about Drizzy (though could’ve posted after I looked).

Just find this s*** hilarious man

Didn’t Drake start f***ing his girl after he didn’t wanna sign after taking half his own album for Take Care? I get it lmao

Because he really doesn't like Drake lmao. I've never bought that whole Drake f***ed Bella s*** because it's way deeper than that.

You sure? Cause it seems too personal not to be that. He obviously hates this nigga. Drake f***ed Wayne’s girl and he helped establish his career him f***ing Bella ain’t crazy

Eh. Everyone gasses up the guests they bring on stage. Drake called every single person who touched his stage in 2016/2017/2018 the greatest ever, etc. Doesn't really mean s***. That's just s*** you say. Your actions are what matter and Abel's actions have always read as someone trying to be the #1 guy from Canada/Toronto.

Hes bigger as Drake atm so he kinda did that

How his team feels about Drake doesn't really matter lol. It's just always felt like Abel has wanted to position himself as the #1 guy from the city. He's definitely tried various things to push/establish that narrative but it's simply never stuck.

I think the resentment comes from him still feeling like he's under Drake's shadow.

that’s what i feel to. very weird. that’s your peer from the same city and you’re both doing great things. it’s not even like there’s any friendly competition just straight your side and my side, but drakes stupid ass can’t get a hint

What if Drake was on some 48 laws of power tip with Abel. it is very weird that Abel never reciprocate the love public though. It don't cost him nothing either. But pride and ego you know. I could be totally wrong about his relationship with Drake, but it's just weird.

I think he is tbh. Drake is rarely nice for no reason

This s*** is just funny because Drake actually believes Abel thinks of him the same way when he couldn't be more wrong.

What’s more funny is you acting like you know any of these people and what they’re thinking lol

drake isn’t that naive anymore. sometimes being the bigger person is a growth on your own part rather than caring what other people think. congratulating someone on their success does not mean you have to be best friends with them or for them to even like you. i respect people who put pride aside

  • May 25, 2021

lol i could see how this is a power move though in fact any time drake congratulates the weeknd it always has a paternalistic tone to it lmao

In the end they all jealous of Drake tbh

I wonder if he has real industry friends except for Wayne

People all clout chasers. People know Drakes a platform for success and freebies.

    I doubt too many.

He definitely has the crossover appeal lol. He's the biggest male popstar of the last few years.

I think he's tried to outdo Drake commercially several times to set the narrative up that he's surpassed him but it never works.

I have a theory about why he was extra mad at the Grammys snub and it's because it f***ed up him/his team's plan to make a strong case for him being the #1 guy.

yep if he swept the grammys it woulda added to his resume

him and drake about legacy minded people but it’s crazy though because it’s like the big bro little bro thing and how the big bro is almost care free and effortless with it while the little bro is always trying to overtake and get the attention

If Drake next album sells what Weeknd did first week (even without the bundle cheats) it’s a massive flop 💀

    Not even close

Yeah, I don’t necessarily believe that Drake thinks Abel thinks of him the same way. Think Drake recognizes he can’t keep beefing his whole career.

Have to mature and grow up, just think it’s hilarious that Abel just doesn’t even reciprocate anything. Childish.

Definitely not, after hours didn't even come close to the popularity of Scorpion

    Drake embarrassing himself

drake's been doing this type of stuff for a while now. He even made up with Chris Brown & Meek and handed them their biggest hits of the last 5+ years of their careers. Hell he even made up with Kanye back in 2018 and went and wrote for him

it genuinely is weird because he definitely doesn't need any of these guys yet he still goes out of his way to do this sort of stuff
