Interview and shoot was probably done a month or two ago before all this hit and they probably had the magazine mapped out well in advance so it’d be hard to push it back. And then I’d say it’d be agreed that drake had to promote it as well. I can see where you’re coming from but on the flip side it’s cool for regular people to get an insight into his life and what hard work can bring

Say for some reason Drake fell off at 27 and his career went to s*** (was never a possibility because he’s the goat but humor me here), would he have been able to finish the construction of the embassy? I wouldn’t have a clue - do you pay up front with something as big as this - would he have had that much cash up front? - or how does the process work?

From that quote, it seems like there was some risk involved and drake had to bet on himself being able to keep raking in the cash to ensure it was viable. Obviously he’s achieved that and then some. incredible that he’s literally built a palace for himself so young.
