I tried listening to an audiobook yesterday. How do y'all do it man, I can't stand that s*** lmao. Rather see them letters, but that's for fiction. It's prolly different for non-fiction
because it's still nice to consume a book when it's not possible to physically hold it? what kind of dumbass question is this lmao
Yeah if you’re. Making music all day it’s reasonable you would want a break
Doesn’t mean you can’t be tapped in though
yes i thought it was pretty standard for musicians to not listen to tons of music they themselves don’t make
he's so tapped into the zeitgeist though

Everyone calling drake weird for this yet James Blake was agreeing too
F*** James Blakes corny ass too

It's a preference thing, and I'm aware of the convenience. Why do you think I tried it in the first place?

I personally haven’t listened to any fiction audiobooks so I can’t really comment on that, I could see why a narrator could be hella irritating. And I think a lot of the intent of the author is lost listening to fiction instead of reading.
But for non fiction it’s basically listening to a informative coherent prolonged podcast. I have to drive a lot for work currently and it’s nice to be able to listen to something other than music sometimes. I would recommend listening to a biography of someone you find interesting, that’s the kind of books that I find best suited for the audiobook format.
It also heavily depends on the narrator how enjoyable listening is, some are just unbearable.

I'm definitely gonna try a biography audiobook
And yeah, it totally makes sense for non fiction. I just remembered that I got a non fiction audiobook that I'm gonna listen to (I read it already but I wanna see just how much the audiobook enhances the experience while I'm getting busy).
My experience was from a fiction novel and the narrator was jarring because I could never tell who was talking and it just became too confusing to follow lmao.
What biographies should I start with? Any one is fine
Lmao damn my nigga we get it
Yall friends
"Oh you got sinuses? Drake got those too."
I’m committing Bi erasure and nobody can stop me
You mixed? You bleaching your skin?
Young thug only listens to his own music, but what's crazy is he still probably listens to more music than the average person because he has literally 1,000 songs
