I know you're not an angel
People call every risk drake takes trash
The only ppl who say that are ppl who never liked him to begin with
i listened to it on youtube just so he wouldnt get any spotify streams
I didn’t even want him to get a YouTube video so I had to just read the lyrics. Was fire from what I could infer tho
Survival
Emotionless
Can't Take a Joke
Sandra's Rose
Is There More
Blue Tint
Final Fantasy
All the good songs. More than 5
7/25. that's a miss
Toosie slide and pain the only songs I’m not f***ing with at all
Pretty solid overall, nothing crazy but for what this is, can’t really complain
Have high hopes for the album
Ye stans are really gonna s*** on this after Kanye dropped JIK
And this is coming from a Ye stan, Drake won here easy
ok fine you are comparing a 14 track tape to a 25 track double-album for some reason.
But you really think this release has pound-for-pound better music than scorpion?
Side A is way more enjoyable to me.
well yes. when you drop an album all under the same name, you do not just judge the record by the songs you like. pound for pound, 100% this is better, higher percentage of hits. Less comprehensive theme, but that would be implying there was a theme to scorpion which im not sure there was
Even if the songs are enjoyable, it's not what he's capable of putting out, but it's a collection of b-sides, so expectations shouldn't be high, period. But also remember that Care Package was also a collection of B-Sides and look at the difference in quality between those two. Drake at his height, and Drake at his nadir. Maybe it's more depressing for me because I've followed his career since his mixtape days. More than half of the niggas in this thread started listening to Drake at the mid-point. So......
I’d be lying if I said I heavily rocked with CS and RFI, but I’ve been on him heavy since a little before SFG. Care Package was a collection of top-notch loosies over different eras though. I don’t know if I would compare that to this tape.
Carti verse is getting S*** on
Big facts LMAOOO
Luckily he’s dropping in a 2-3 months with a proper album. That’s right around the corner. If that wasn’t the case then this tape wouldn’t be feel right.
This is a B-Sides tape. A tape of demos that were leaking/ he thought were fire enough to give us a sneak peek to his project.
Tbh smart of him to release a B-Sides before releasing the main project. Has anyone ever done this before?
Niggas used to put out mixtapes before albums all the time bro. Putting a mixtape out before an album was part of what made a successful rollout back then
