Why would he? 100 Gigs was to try and force Universal's hand. Drake isn't going to keep dropping loosies that'll get zero label support behind them. I'm pretty sure it's a safe bet to say he doesn't want to put another a new dollar in Universal's pockets til they pay up.

I personally think the legal stuff is his play to get out of his Universal deal entirely.

I'm not sure where you saw that but he hasn't had any ties to Warner for years. He moved OVO over to Santa Anna (which is backed by Sony) from Warner a few years ago but that's it. OVO's separate situations as a label have never had anything to do with Drake's solo work though.

That small period of time when his old Universal deal finished and when he signed the 400 million dollar one he was just "OVO" on official release credits but he obviously proceeded re-upped with Universal.

Every 100 Gigs release on Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, and YouTube Music says "2024 OVO, under exclusive license to Republic Records, a division of UMG Recordings, Inc" as it should because that's the truth.

He's not with Warner in any capacity and hasn't been. Whoever inputted that info on that pub site is wrong and even them spelling it in all lowercase letters is off.
