BVLthis is probably a song that Drake decided to make because he wanted to. May or not even be on the album. Might even just be a song he decides to drop or something. If youre thinking bad about this song all its gonna do is ruin your expectations for CLB. Just wait for the album

Basically where I’m at. I get the sound but @thegreatdivine is right about the drum pattern. The auto tune isn’t good either. But the bars were good. I like the energy of the song.

Okay I definitely get what you’re saying now cause I felt like Wants and Needs was really dope sonically. You’re definitely on point about him struggling to keep up with What’s Next.
That drum pattern complimenting the loop is what draws me to Wants and Needs so much. That s*** sounds f***ing menacing.
Just wanted to make my point clearer. All 3 songs in that pack sounded so different from each other and that was refreshing. Even Lemon Pepper Freestyle had a simple production but the sample was excellent and the bars over it were crazy and on songs like that, you have to be careful not to do too much on the production end of things.
Some people will be fine with him doing more of the same and that's well and good but those same people should also not be surprised if/when there are criticisms that follow.
