Honestly what was Drake’s last iconic/timeless album beat?
I just know Drake can't compete in this decade if he thinks he can coast of mediocre ass beats like he did in the last decade. Can't be the biggest dude in in the game but be making songs with lazy, wack production. It won't work.
Honestly what was Drake’s last iconic/timeless album beat?
Nice for what, March 14, deep pockets, after dark, not you too, etc there’s so many great beats on the last couple projects ppl just actin like he only make trap songs now

I don’t even have a problem w him making trap songs
It’s just that they aren’t even special trap beats
Like you’re possibly the most successful rapper ever you have infinite resources how are these the best 10 beats that you can find to work with
Has a legion of producers at his disposal and these are the kind of beats we get.
Hell a lot of people in this community make better beats with fraction of the resources available.
He needs somebody from the outside to chime in
Some of these responses look like music sxn posters
put greatdivine in her own tier
Lotta mixed reactions, which is fair. I f with the sample?? Or whatever the beat is. Agree the drums sound simple but it’s obviously still a demo
Besides the streams he did with Night Owl, he never just drops snippets on his IG. I wonder what made him what to say "let me just post this"
If you delay your album a bunch and constantly call the songs you drop before "warm ups", you'd hope songs like this were kept to a minimum on the eventual release.
Not bad to listen to but it would just fall onto the pile tbh
That was my instant reaction as well
I think he will never disappoint when it comes to BARS. He'll always deliver on that end. We know that. But I'm done with the wack beats and I'll call it out whenever I hear it.
We also need to stop doing this thing where we overhype ANYTHING he drops simply because we want new music or people attack people for having valid criticisms. We can be critical because we're actually fans who care about his music and aren't just mindless haters who can't offer any constructive criticism.
I swear stuff like this make what the other ppl say about him seem true and make it hard as a fan. This just sounds like a lil baby, lol durk rip off type of song... I hope he sees criticism to this and goes back to the drawing board because as big as he is he needs to be leading the pack and being different not following what's hot

Nice For What if we're looking at albums but War if DLDT counts
His production hasn't been this good since IYRTITL, what are you talking about
Seriously like I said I can appreciate him doing it on features and loosies just to have fun and tell these young niggas that I can do what you do just as good or even better but I ain't trynna hear that on the ALBUM though. The album Drake should be sounding like Drake because that's what we here for not him impersonating Lil Baby or Lil Durk or Lil Uzi or Lil Whatever.
Couldn't have said it any better myself.

Was thinkin the same. Maybe it’s an old song they pullin lyrics or the sample from and it’ll never be released? Who knows? Seems weird

I won’t put no money on his head my niggas owe me.
Demon emoji bars
The pen is on steroids CLB era
Bro used to rap on just blaze, Jamie xx, Kanye etc
I listened to Aston Martin Music last night and I when I realized the song was over 10 years old, I almost shed tears. I don't think Drake has made 10 songs with beats that lush and timeless. It's been wack ass trap drums for the last 6 years and I'm sick of it.
