I’ve had a similar experience, Kendrick used to be my fav rapper from like
2011- 2022 and I hated Drake during this time lmao but somehow I still listened to Drake all the time but I wouldn’t give him full credit. But once I sat back I was amazed like bro kills all his peers in terms of replay value and honest in music time and replay value is the true test of quality. If I never wanna listen to the s*** the production is probably subpar
well see Drake signed a contract with Spotify and Apple, terms are no physicals just streaming, so they can manipulate the numbers behind the scenes...those companies going make sure he's on your Playlist if you like it or not, IT'S HOW "THEY" CONTROL the MASSES (they know more people rather follow than be leaders themselves) but don't worry Drake, you're number 1 in every genre but Hip Hop. they just categorized it as such to troll the black community

Timeline sounds as about the same as mines but I didn't listen to him like that only ones were NWTS and I was straight hating lol
I loved So far gone thoI slowly came around with more life and scorpion. During the pandemic I finally gave IYRDITL a spin and blew my mind what I missed out on because of hate. Ironically I stopped checking out Kendrick at that time and was massively disappointed with Mr Morale.
