I think this is correct, but as the legal team I think you have to cast a wide net to see what you can get to help your case.

I agree with you, but the judge did seem to entertain the thought of this being a rap battle so I can see Drake's argument of "all my claims were facts he lied" holding some weight. Or at the very least the Judge entertaining it enough to move the court of public opinion
If it's true I think that's Drake's angle, if it's false he just throwing s*** at the wall cause they really don't have any proof of any bots or payola or anything

They are very significant to the lawsuit, actually. It would prove that everything Drake was saying in Family Matters was true in response to UMG saying that Drake made fake accusations against Lamar as well.
