Drake's Position:

Add Sir Lucian Grainge (Chief Executive Officer of UMG’s parent company), Jason Kawejsza (UMG in-house lawyer), and other senior figures to the list of custodians. UMG's response:

Refuses Grainge, says he had no direct role, and any relevant emails would be “duplicative” (copies of what’s already in other people’s emails). Refuses Kawejsza, says his work is protected by attorney client privilege, and reviewing it would be a huge burden.

Drake wants a full breakdown of marketing funds possibly spent on Kendrick Lamar or the song/video, and how UMG’s “central repository” (database) is organized and searched.

UMG says they searched and found nothing for “Not Like Us,” but won’t provide extra detail on how the database works unless needed.

Drake demands all complaints or reports of payola related to the song, whether formal or informal.

UMG says Global Compliance group (internal department that handles legal/ethical complaints) has nothing on this song, and won’t confirm broader policy details unless ordered by the court.

Court has denied Drake to push more on this as unveiled via the June 12th meeting and court determined UMG has provided all relevant data they have needed to.
