The only Kendrick album I'd count as conscious is TPAB. Every other album has been a straight up mainstream album, each with a handful of tracked aimed at appealing to the masses so miss me with this narrative.

As much as I love him, he absolutely does not have any classics under his solo belt. Clipse? Different story. But, Daytona is not a classic. Great music? Yes. But fails to meet really any metric besides appreciation when it comes to making a classic.

I would argue that even NWTS has not a lot of influence. Its a Drake album perfectly executed and thats why its rated highly and regarded as a classic.
