Drake stans wanna gaslight me and others by saying Family Matters was the best diss song out of the bunch but it's getting outstreamed daily by a song that sounds like it belongs on a Luigi's Mansion OST

Off topic this game is basura
Only Kendrick stans believe an almost 8-minute straight rap song with 3 beat switches was intended to be a smash hit by Drake simply because it got a clean version lmao.
euphoria: 6 minutes and 23 seconds, 3 beat switches - 411M streams on Spotify
Family Matters: 7 minutes and 36 seconds, 3 beat switches - 163M streams on Spotify
Why’s that?
euphoria also has more streams than Push Ups
And is only 31M streams behind Back to Back, which released 10 years ago
Why is that?

Euphoria went number 3 btw on the billboard charts

Bro if MTG released on dsps it would have been top 5 as well. Its the Drake hate.

I thought it was #2 and only cause NLU beat it?
Or was it cause it had a short tracking week?
Also in what world was Drake trying to make a hit with Family Matters
Do I believe that he thought it was a kill shot? Yes I do when it obviously wasn’t. Do I think he lost the beef? Yes.
But was he outrapped? No lmfao. He was trying to make a hard hitting diss which he did and it clears everything Kendrick did. K.Dot won on shock factor and hype. To say that he was trying to make memes and stuff is laughable
the mental gymnastics 🐶💔

Wrong, Meet the Grahams dropped on DSPs the same day as Not Like Us

It released on a Tuesday afternoon, so its first like 2 days and 12 hours were for the previous tracking week. It would’ve easily went #1 if it had a midnight release on Friday

I said this back then and niggas got at me
None of y’all have yet to give an actual answer as to why Family Matters released with a clean version
Just cope and delusion
S*** dropped EXACTLY at midnight with a clean version locked and loaded. That nigga thought he had one
Music video and GKMC prop van, prop cakes, went to New Ho King
“Stay on stream”
One of the dudes who knows how to make a song s*** don’t even have a hook outside the first beat
Not like us got a hook

But it did same time as not like us

Meet the Grahams existing and not being a major commercial success is more proof that bots were not used by UMG or Kendrick to boost those diss records. The public was literally just listening to them.
If MTG had like 500M streams too then I’d be like aight that’s a little suspicious

Funniest s*** I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing, you make my sun shine brighter

U don't remember Kendrick haters saying that he had to remove the cover art to upload to DSP's because he was "ashamed" that he "fell for items planted by Drake"?. People forgetting the timeline already

He didn’t forget. Drake stans are shameless and will lie about small details to make Drake look less bad
So why’d the court room sketch artist guy say it wasn’t Sophie then say it actually was lol
UMG played themselves big time because Drake wouldn't have been able to sue them if they hadn't let their ego and pride determine how they interacted with him. It's very clear that Drake and UMG had issues brewing even before this Kendrick beef came in the picture because no one does a sudden 180° turn on their biggest star overnight.
Drake's legal team has already submitted pages upon pages of correspondence between him and UMG, where he asked to meet with them regarding the defamatory material on Not Like Us and how the massive push behind it was messing with his actual life and they told him to f*** off. He asked them to put out a statement as a label basically saying what they're saying now: that he isn't a pedophile and the allegations in the song are only meant to be taken as hyperbole and UMG told him to f*** off as well so good luck to them proving to a judge that they didn't have malicious intent.
UMG could have easily put out a statement clarifying that the things being said by both parties weren't meant to be taken as fact and covered their asses legally from both sides. If they'd done that and Drake still sued them, they'd at least have that to show the judge that they weren't being malicious and the judge would have dismissed this case months ago. They didn't because there was always a plan in place for who they were going to push viciously and who they were aiming to f*** over.
It's especially funny seeing them now trying to act like they've only ever worked in Drake's best interest, all the while behind the scenes daring him to sue them and taunting him saying the rap world would mock him if he sued them and so he better not do it. When Drake's lawyers made mention of it at first, it seemed like a reach but since then, UMG has threatened him publicly, telling him to be careful what he wishes for and using motions and legal briefings to m taunt and mock him — these are all things the judge is reading and picking up on btw.
How do you do all that and then tell the very person you claim to be protecting and working in service of to f*** off when they tell you that material you're massively pushing and promoting is harming their everyday life? Especially when it's material you claim you've always known is false? Moreover, how do you prove that to a judge who now has a long-enough history showing you have been dealing in bad faith with Drake months before he ever sued you?
I ain't reading all that but something tells me something happened today which has you scrambled
If it wasn’t intended to play on radio, then why release a clean version?
You can release a clean version of a song to take advantage of potential radio play, should the song grow legs.
That doesn't at all mean that the song's intentions are for it to be a 'hit.'
Why would an 8 minute song with no hook be purposefully put out for the radio and mass consumption?
Rappers have put out clean version of records that are obviously not for the radio plenty of times.
That’s like… the only reason ANY artist releases a clean version for a song. To either play on radio or on TV… where censorship is legally enforced
Again,
This is true but incredibly disingenuous.
If I'm in a beef, and I put out the kill shot in said beef, I may put out the clean version of the record to incentivize radio to play the record, etc.
But that doesn't mean the record was made with the intention of it being a hit.
If anything, I think Push Ups was, or would of been that record but the release was botched and messy as hell.
