Well I can almost guarantee that Drake & PND album's never seeing the light of day now.
yall realize that he wouldn’t file a legit lawsuit if he didn’t have actual proof right so idk why everyone’s saying his career is done lmfao
Why would drake do most of the s*** in this beef
"UMG is the “world’s largest music company,” and also the music company that has represented Drake for more than a decade.
Yet, on May 4, 2024, UMG approved, published, and launched a campaign to create a viral hit out of a rap track that falsely accuses Drake of being a pedophile and calls for violent retribution against him.
Even though UMG enriched itself and its shareholders by exploiting Drake’s music for years, and knew that the salacious allegations against Drake were false, UMG chose corporate greed over the safety and well-being of its artists."
this is different, way different
A nigga getting exposed in real time, ignore me gang
Also stop saying it’s only Drake haters in here when it’s literally relating to the biggest feud in rap right now lmfao of course this thread will be gaining traffic
Gunna wait on the YouTube lawyers. But US Federal law is different than state law. Might think he has a stronger case, or might think the severity of Federal is strong enough to block the song from being performed at the Super Bowl
Not a legal expert though and doubt anybody here is
Fair enough. Thanks for the response.

Unless they do what Chainz and Wayne did with Collegrove maybe?
Drake is arguing that they did a lot more than just release NLU. They went out of their way to massively promote the song at his detriment partly because he feels they wanted to drive down his value and worth for when his deal would be up and he'd come back to the table for renegotiations.
This is really about him feeling like UMG pushed the button on his image being ruined through the message of that song and ultimately harming his ability to make as much money as possible.
Wouldn’t be the first time they tried to devalue him and ruin his image right before his deal expired
WAIT A MINUTE NOZUKA HAS BEEN SHIN THE WHOLE TIME?????
I’ve been saying it but it’s funny seeing the evidence lined up like that
Drake stan squad can anime villain post about going federal, red buttons and karma
But to 95% of the general public from now until the end of time, will take this as drake suing kendrick himself for losing the beef and being salty. That’s how people saw the other ones, that’s how everyone will see this
But enjoy him ‘going federal’ and winning the long game
Drake: Say that i like young girls, thats a gift from me
Kendrick: you like young girls.
Drake: wait a second.... Im calling the feds!!!!
UMG: shows video of him literally kissing an underaged girl.

Man. Im sorry drake fans but how do you see and rate this guy so highly. How do you resolve an issue and then go back and sue again.
Either this is just drake being an idiot or the coincidences are just stacked against his favor at all times

so theoretically, if UMG didn't clear the song for streaming and it just stayed no Youtube, this wouldn't have happened

Has been obvious I just like saying it because it gets him to be all quiet when he's being annoying
