OVOJerseyHmmmm interesting, idk I think it was Disneyfied but we also have to remember we had a whole 2 decades where the cavs and spurs dominated the nba. The era we are living in now is a ripple effect of denying Chris Paul trade and making sure small market teams were given some consideration (ie Dan Gilbert's b****ing letter to David stern).
In terms of the disneyfication of the nba I would agree it has happened and they are trying to veer away from it now (all star celeb matches interesting indicator throughout the years compared to now). I think the large market thing your talking about though is because you are seeing low ratings because people want to see the lakers Celtics Knicks warriors heat in the finals. Those teams just get the people going lol

Oh big fax, people just bandwagon a player now ever since the decision and lebrons south beach thing I truly hate that about the league and also completely agreee divisions mean nothing, need more competition, less defensive foul calling, and make the players cup wins matter somehow. Like half the season doesn't matter because division games don't matter and the season is way too long. Also so harmful to player health and conditioning. Basketball with these improvements would be back in its prime fr 🤝
