When Drake win this music will never be the same. I know niggas aren't comfortable having the convo because Drake got the ball rolling but the botting during the streaming era and inflating numbers was always going to blow up in one of the big record labels faces and go to trial eventually. Lot of the top artists are quiet because they've benefited but the artists and small labels that consistently get f***ed over are definitely getting ready to follow up if Drake exposes UMG's darkest secrets. Of course there is still the possibility that he has nothing and loses this but I think he and his team know there's a lot at steak here not just for him but future artists for generations. The public is already skeptical of artists so called "hits" that show up automatically in our playlists and searches without us doing it ourselves but Drake at this time is hard to rally behind publicly. I can see that changing when this goes before a judge and we see what he has

The problem is if Drakes right he’s tearing down his own career

All his massive hits and number based accolades are just a product of what he’s fighting

If UMG comes out and says “yeah we botted NLU but also here’s how much we did for you” he’s f***ed

I genuinely don’t think he’s gonna win this tho. You can’t manufacture a hit like NLU, It was and is a cultural movement. If something that big could be manufactured Drake would have a Gods Plan every year
