A dismissal with prejudice can be ordered when the parties have settled their case and the settlement has been paid.
It was originally dismissed and later updated with dismissed with prejudice by DRAKE indicating he was satisfied by the outcome. He got PAID.
When the case is over and we learn how much richer the man is are yall gonna pretend yall didnt lie for months about this case or what??

"Drake's attorney, Michael J. Gottlieb, detailed what he felt was UMG's unprofessional behavior in a four page document. The document alleged that the label's legal team has failed to comply with his requests whenever he's tried to schedule a conference. Furthermore, Gottlieb accused UMG of knowing about the 6 God's legal claims since last July, which he feels is more than enough time to prepare a case. Gottlieb had even more to say on the matter. He requested the court deny UMG's pause request, and force UMG to adhere to the established date. His reasoning? He believes UMG is dragging their feet in an attempt to "circumvent" the rules of the court."

So UMG knew about this case since JULY lol. They REALLY didnt think Drake had the cajones to sue them. UMG literally said in the legal filings that they believed that the general public wouldn't be able to understand the complexities of the music business to be able to understand Drake's claims, Paying all these media heads to drag Drake for suing makes soo much sense now.
It's crazy but thank God for Tik tok. A lot of people are starting to talk more about this case and break through the media blackout.
