Do you not understand how reputational damage is proven in a defamation lawsuit

Drake is a massive public figure and you can find plenty of vile and negative comments about him in any comment section from the last 15 years. You can even find thousands of identical comments(calling him a predator/pedo) from years before this Kendrick beef.

Do you understand how hard it is to prove defamation and why citing YouTube comments is laughable?

are your bizarre posts about Kendrick Lamar evidence that he was defamed by Drake? or are you just an online weirdo like the people cited in this lawsuit?

ive seen more negative posts online about kendrick post-beef tbh lmao and my algorithm should naturally be pro-kendrick

using youtube comments to try to prove that is beyond pathetic.

Ah yes, please enlighten me and the judicial system on how you should prove reputational damage if you can't use comments, opinions and views from individuals who posted them online on a platform where their views are shared among millions of people and in many instances go viral.

How should Plaintiff prove reputational damage if we have to go by the great mind of ''Mustardonthezeusho''?

This post answered my question. No, you simply do not understand how.

But to answer the only sensible part of your post - yes, it is hard to prove it, especially for people outside of the lawsuit as they don't have access to some of the information that you need in order to prove it, such as how it has affected some areas of his businesses.

It appears you aren't able to comprehend this at all and aren't familiar with defamation suits and why citing over two pages worth of social media comments is frivolous litigation at best.

    didn't UMG cite tweets

Drake cited YouTube creators, tweets, and a random kid on Akademiks stream in his 85 page lawsuit

seems like they just consistently meeting him at his level

yea after Drake did as a response, because he opened that up to be referenced as evidence. not as the basis of their defense which is what your statement can be interpreted as when it’s said just plainly like that, which has been the major issue when assessing Drake this beef from supporters is the inability to say “Drake did it first”

Apparently social media comments aren't used as evidence in defamation lawsuits but will now be allowed in this case because ''Drake did it first''

They're so determined to see Drake "take an L" in this lawsuit, they've jumped to making assumptions about what constitutes defamation or not. I think I'll leave it to Drake's team of lawyers, who actually know what they hell they're doing.

Again, best to just watch how this all plays out. The next notable date is in late June when the judge rules on whether or not the lawsuit will move on to trial.

All the Drake haters jumped to say he had dropped the botting allegations, only for his legal team to keep them in and offer even more context around their inclusion.

The legal field isn't easy, so it is fully understandable that people with no legal expertise don't know the scope of the law. But that also mean that they should be careful with their posts and how confident they are when they make statements and present them as facts. That isn't the case though, they are posting some embarrassingly incorrect posts and in a confident fashion despite being utterly wrong

did Drake not present an 85 page lawsuit that presented social media as evidence?

thereby which UMG naturally had to then present evidence from the same social medias to refute said claims?

why are you over complicating what I answered to buddy and making me appear like am some fool who doesn’t understand law?
its not hard to refute the claims that Drake made…using the same mediums by which he tried to present as evidence to his shortcomings in his initial lawsuit

in laymans terms, “Drake did it first” and now they are responding with the arguments HE chose to use lmfao

can’t even @ who you talking to or why I made that statement

all ya’ll will do is say “nobody denied that Drake did it first, it’s just funny that…” then spin again to d***ride at all cost

then be in here all day, then turn around tomorrow and tell niggas “no in fact, I only posted 15 times 🤓”

ah so drake is out of his deal then? because that would constitute the term re-signing (which is not even a real term)
