Drake stans whole worldview will shatter if it’s revealed that his numbers are fabricated as well
This lawsuit is actually a big W for Kendrick for three reasons:
First, it exposes what happens when a lame gets too much power and thinks he’s bigger than the whole genre.
Second, the longer this lawsuit drags on the longer NLU stays relevant. The song is about to hit 1.5B streams and its anniversary is coming up so this lawsuit is actually free promo.
Third, UMG now has the solid excuse to delay or even completely block the next rollout basically making sure the next album never sees the light of day (huge win for Hiphop)
That being said I get why he mad and its not cause Kendrick called him a pdf (he actually doesnt care about that). The real issue is that kendrick messed up his potential $700m bag.
Any new deal now is gonna be way lower probably under $150M that's almost $600M gone lol. No wonder he’s pissed especially since money is his obsession (he’s addicted to gambling and needs money otherwise he has to borrow from Stakkke).
I hope this lawsuit drags on for at least another year tbh.
Nigga thinks because Drake's expensive, experienced lawyers are quoting social media posts they're obviously right and that constitutes strong evidence
If you have an EXTREMELY rich and famous client, would you assist them with their weak case and sling any s*** at the wall hoping it succeeds so that you can get the bag? Or let that client walk away and give that bag to another lawyer who would be willing to do it?
Sad human beings

I also hope UMG ends his career for good and redirect that $700M to independent artists who actually deserve it.

Y'all think Robert Shapiro genuinely thought OJ didn't do it, even though he failed a lie detector test? Or he knew if he wasn't on the team, another lawyer out there would be willing to get on the team and get their name out there?
I don't wanna see u sink in the UMG boat broski
Sorry I gotta do this for DOT bro bro
No clue, but how is this proof of any involvement of botting or cooking the numbers? Specifically Interscope? Is this is the first time label execs celebrated the success of a song?
brah yall niggas love givin da devils benefits of da doubt

@Gosh He said it
i need to know the pros and cons to this nigga winning this lawsuit
Pros: Opens the door for Kendrick to sue Drake for defamation for the false accusations about Whitney cheating, being abused, Dave Free fathering his child
Cons: Kendrick not b**** enough to file a lawsuit over diss tracks
I also hope UMG ends his career for good and redirect that $700M to independent artists who actually deserve it.
UMG directing 700million to independents? Yall are so lost
i need to know the pros and cons to this nigga winning this lawsuit
Pros for Drake
UMG would have to publicly apologize.
They asking for injuctive relief so a huge payout too
Probably get all NLU and mentions of it wiped from the Internet
Cons
Might limit "artistic expression" but a music label has always had the power to not release a song if they don't want too
UMG might crumble (exaggeration lol) but their business practices will become known and hinder people signing with them
Artists currently signed to UMG are bound to get f***ed in the interim. That might play out bad for Drake if more artists switch on him
Doubt Drake signs back with them so their marketshare decreases
UMG directing 700million to independents? Yall are so lost
don't mind it
its brains spilled on its shirt

I think he became scared of his old friend and was too p**** to speak out tbh
