Yes that's marketing. They knew what they were doing keeping the mystery hidden all the way to the end unlike the other years. This is basic marketing 101. Build up hype with "anything is possible!" There's a reason rocky and uzi weren't booed.
The promoters also probably thought people would love drake. But everyone can see a mile away that the fans would buy for the chance to see frank.
