Plenty variables the past few years. Clearly affected Drake's rollouts and decisions on what and when to release. Why would you think that wouldn't affect a joint project between two artists this big? They can be working on music throughout years and not be sure whether it's for a collab project or loosies or their own projects. You expecting WATTBA 2 yo be made in the exact same way 1 was?

Y'all have been saying there's a WATTBA 2 in the works every year since 2015 and have been wrong every single time. All y'all have to go on is that they've been around each other for some weeks now but that doesn't mean they're making an album together, especially when there isn't any solid proof of that. We haven't even heard any rumblings of that. In 2015, we knew they were working on an album. Right now, for all we know, these are just two good friends chillin'.

Only other time I’ve said there was gonna be WAT2BA was when Future made this post in 2019 and we got Life is Good, D4L & Desires from it

We actually did lol. They booked a studio in Atlanta and lots of people were posting about them making a project together. That's how there were so many fan art covers almost 2 weeks before it even dropped. Someone even spoke about Plastic Bag being the hardest song on their collab album (he was just capping because that's the only song he'd heard). But there were REAL pointers to them working together.

Trust me, if that is what was happening right now, we'd have caught wind of something. Producers would be giving off hints. I really wouldn't mind another collab project between the both of them but them hanging around each other doesn't always have to mean they're working on another collab project. I was one of the few people insisting that Life Is Good wasn't some hint at WATTBA 2 but everyone dismissed me and it turned out to just be a Future single with a Drake feature lol. The person we should be expecting a collab album with is Rick Ross, not Future. I see Drake tapping in with Ross first before doubling down with Future again but hey, if you think this all means there's a WATTBA 2 on the way, that's fine as well.

This was really getting cheffed pre-pandemic

WATTBA happened quickly. It was done in 6 days and we knew when Drake flew to Atlanta. Maybe you didn't but I remember seeing tweets saying him and Future booked a studio and had locked in for over a week. The time between when WATTBA was recorded and when it was released wasn't up to 6 weeks. Shortly after OVO Fest, Drake went to Atlanta with Future and was there with him for like 10-12 days. That's when rumors started bubbling that they had made a project together. By early September, we had gotten a fake countdown, fake tracklists and fake cover art and the project wasn't confirmed/didn't drop for like another 2+ weeks lol.

My bad. I know many people on KTT believed Life Is Good was a hint at WATTBA 2 though. I think they work well together/make a lot of songs together but I just don't think that means another collab album is in the works. Future has several projects of his own lined up to drop and I think that's what he'll do all throughout 2022, maybe even starting before this year is over. We'll see what ends up happening though. Maybe you'll turn out to be right.
