A lot of stans are so parasocially invested in Drake that when they see criticism of the music it doesn’t even register as being about the music, they see it as an attack on Drake’s personal character and therefore themselves. I do not care about these guys morals or their personal decisions, I listen to plenty of s***ty characters myself, I just like the way the music hits my brain. But whenever I mention how painfully mid FATD is, and how insulting the marketing for it that promoted it as “old Drake” was, im accused of being a seething, undercover Drake hater taking my jealousy out on KTT2 because I simply can’t accept that i don’t live the OVO lifestyle. I have a job, a gf, house, Jada jada.I'm here for the music. Drake makes good music, Kendrick makes good music. All this rappers are cool and talented. But it's pretty obvious now the way some move. Drake ain't the super clean guy, nobody is, we all have s*** in our closets. But cmn, he really has been on top for some years, he does not have the need to "sub" people for fame. It's clear the beef with Weeknd is real, the one with future, Rocky and Chris too. They have real personal reasons (ladies and contracts lmao). Everybody else? Is just some jelousy type of s***.

Kendrick dislikes his persona and now that he is 2nd at the game, he looking for the throne. It does not feel right this coming from someone like Kenny, but He may be the only one with real chances to get it. Kanye is jealous, Jay Z is salty, Metro is jealous, Rosay is cynical af.
