I think it's mainly because there's a number of songs that sound like he was gifted on the record:
- Gently (sounds like a Bad Bunny song given to him)
- IDGAF (same for Yeat, it actually was originally a solo Yeat Song)
- Another Late Night (sounds like a Yachty song ripped from his album leftovers)
Gently was produced by Carnage, he did an interview on it a few days ago
They sent it to Bad Bunny

The song is god awful and easily top 2 worst drake songs with ratchet happy birthday
But not for that reason at all
A bad bunny song given to drake would be better
This was drake making a Spanish song (apparently a whole different sub genre /country from bunny) and then adding Bunny to it
That’s why it ain’t work, bunny should’ve sent him something but you can tell this started with drake

You guys legit say this about every album
I knew I liked HNVM the moment I heard it. I didn't have to grow into it. I knew I liked IYRTITL the moment I heard it.
Sometimes you do have to acclimate to a Death Grips or a Yeezus or a 100 Gecs- not a Drake album. Not the 50th Drake ™️ album. C'mon man. We know Drake by now.
Drake isn’t ye or 100 gecs
But there clearly is some kind of phenomenon where people trash the current album and then the second the next one comes out, people come out the woodwork saying they liked the last one
Today there’s been so much CLB praise you would think it was take care. Everyone saying that was great and they wish this was more like that
I saw none of this until now
I think drake is unique because he provokes strong reactions and there’s always expectations on his albums so they get labeled as let downs but then after a while everyone realizes that they like the songs on it even if the album wasn’t what they expected
Seeing CLB become a ktt2 approved classic in the last couple days is the most insane switch up I’ve ever seen
