Nah dude I'm sorry but 808s is the sore thumb here, that album was indeed underrated on release, but it lacks the wide acceptance needed to be considered a classic. Most people either don't revisit it, or only revisit the singles.
What? Look at the influence it’s had. You could give it classic status off that alone.

It influenced the sound of the man this thread is about so it's enough to make it a classic lol

I respect the influence, although I would personally say a lot of the s*** that Kanye popularized with 808s was already being done by T-Pain.
But I think that being a classic has a lot of standards, just being influential shouldn't cut it. That would mean albums with a BAD influence, like Flockaveli, would qualify as classics. I don't fw that. I think it should age well and remain popular for a long time to count as well.
Whaaat? I agree with those songs on Views being great, but More Life has more than a few rap-centric tracks.
I think More Life is a slow burner, it opens up with a few heavy hitters then really really pulls back until Gyalchester. I like the vision but if you prefer something immediate then you might not like it.
I feel you but you can always just skip straight to Gyalchester and you'll be straight at the rapping tracks.
Gyalchester cool but he not spitting like crazy on this lmao

It's not NWTS/IYRTITL-level bars but he's got some wise points on Free Smoke.

Listen through Side A of Scorpion with an open mind, it's definitely not the same but it's a new direction. Just spin that and stop, maybe go through a few times and it'll click. Then try Side B and listen to both some time if you have the time to do it.
Views is like a movie. That s*** needs to be experienced start to end with no breaks.
Just to help OP out, drake himself admitted that views was from a bad place and if the artist regrets his own album idk how you’re gonna call it perfect. Thread is imperfect
facts
Scorpion was Drakes Wii U. Next album gonna be his Nintendo Switch
Wii U was s***ty hardware but the library has more classics than Switch.

I agree Views feels like it's bitter and angry, but that's just a reflection of a place Drake wished he hadn't shown. Sure, he regrets the album, but the fact that it's easily the most relatable of his albums for me just shows that it's good that he made an album from that place.
