Cole/Drake/Kendrick fans been doin this for over a decade, they just pivoted to streams to get this s*** off instead of just tweets lol

Her ass is all natty like Florida Gators let’s go!
You switched on the guys and supported a hater LETS GO!

No matter how many times he’s tried to explain this it’s just unfathomable he thought it was a good idea to post that
Lemme start this by saying:
I LIKE THE SONG. I THINK “WHAT DID I MISS” IS A GREAT AND SUPER CATCHY SINGLE. THIS IS NOT HATE. THE COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE OF THE SONG HAS NO BEARINGS ON MY OPINION OF ITS QUALITY.
But the commercial performance for this track (so far) is very odd to say the least. Yeah it wasn’t promoted a ton and you can make the caveat that it missed a day of tracking, but 134 points for a new Drake single (that’s being touted as the lead single to a new album) is very strange.
I’m not saying he’s done or anything crazy like that, but if this is a sign of what the commercial performance of Iceman will be, it’s not looking good
I ain’t really into counting streams but I look at it like this man, this is Iceman’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing”, “Stronger” is likely coming next (for all of yall who are old enough to remember the Graduation rollout). The first single is not always supposed to be the smash. It used to be common in rap rollouts to release a “street single” first to build hype then come with the hit.
Also I expected his popularity to take a hit after the beef and that’s what we’ve been seeing since last year for the most part so it’s not really shocking to me, people still are coming around and warming up to fw Drake’s music again after everything that has transpired.
I think what’s more interesting to me is the positive reaction to the quality of the song. It’s possible that the roles may have been reversed this time with Kendrick having the bigger more commercially successful album and Drake ending up with the better album. Not saying that’s a guarantee or even likely but based on the quality of this song it’s DEFINITELY not off the table. This easily and effortlessly clears tf out of Squabble Up
im not surprised that this is not a insta #1
missed a day of tracking and the "video" is part of the iceman stream instead of being its own thing so people are watching it off bootleg uploads
Threw a good band in the air when this shi came on at 29
The boy need to drop Ice Man expeditiously
F*** ICE tho

Lmaoo chill that’s my fellow Kenny stan he just don’t have internet sometimes
the “it doesn’t sound like a #1” comments would’ve been valid if it wasn’t one of the driest years for new music in recent memory
a new drake x tay keith single can’t outdo a song that’s almost 100 weeks charting
or shaboozey bar song
or a morgan wallen 3 peat
well i guess that’s why he hung out with him at a concert
Watching this song flop after streaming it 100x over the weekend

Not caring what flopped and what didn't >>>>>>
