That’s what I was saying a while back. We hold Drake to a higher standard than the Young Thug and DaBabys of the world cause Drake actually has potential to be the goat rapper if he really tried.
No young thug jus better musician
Drake stans are literally the most toxic fanbase on this site, the only person I can respect is Vietbrah which is sad
can we not constructively criticise artists anymore
OP didnt do that tho lol he literally said hes rapping about nothing on these tracks when thats not true at all

literal cancer bro it’s mind boggling

it’s his opinion though that’s what a forum is for. see both sides
You care a lil too much fam.
Look in the mirror.
You come on this site to post secret gossip about other peoples lives.
You literally in gossip groups and run your own gossip social media page.
If I care a "lil" too much, what does that say about you
literal cancer bro it’s mind boggling
They are like that one ex girlfriend that was never good for you in the first place
THUGGER can be one of the greatest artists off the strength he’s not scared to push boundaries. But I wouldn’t consider him a goat rapper.
Oh I see, you were talking about the rapping aspect rather than overall artistry. I mean, yeah. Drake has proven that he can rap his ass off in the past.
No young thug jus better musician
Thug has a much more consistent discog and better overall artistry imo

There’s no side when your claim is false
Drake is obviously bored with rap.
Ever notice that careers have an arc?
The media says it’s because the entertainers age out.
No, usually they burn out, they lose their motivation. Because once they get what they thought they wanted, and discover it doesn’t fill the hole, doesn’t answer all their problems, they can’t do it anymore.
Kendrick Lamar:
Say, say, say
I come from murder one, brung late night melee
Say, say, say
We hung all summer, sprung mattress with bae bae
Say, say, say
Trippin' off Dyke, and my name strike with pay day
Say, say, say
Flippin' blue lightning, tightening, strapped with AK
Say, say, say
OG one, told me one, show me one, eight ways
How to segue
P****, power, profit in headache
I reminisce my life innocence
Or life innocent
Or life intimate, with fame
Light limo tint
With light women, dark women in it
Awe Kenny, good game
She wanna hang with a Starboy
The sun and the moon and star, boy
Astronomer, anonymous
I line 'em up, grind 'em up, there's nine of us
And five of us are probably f***ed
She mollied up, I tallied up all the parts, boy
Twenty legs, arms, head (head)
Head, head, more head (head)
Oh God, bless the dead (yah)
I'm livin' life, high off life
I wear my chokes off to bed
I'm the greatest nigga, why you scared to say it?
I wanna rock, I wanna rock, I wanna cop more land
I never stop
I wanna quick advance on a bill if it ain't one
Break everything, I'm a hustler, came from
But Drake be rapping about nothing right
Exactly how i feel. Nowadays after listening to a new Drake song, i always think that the flow is nice and there are some catchy rhymes here and there but Drake‘s content is so repetitive that i never return to those songs.
It’s not really the content cus drake been rapping about the same s*** forever. It’s just his approach to the material and his presence in the song. NWTS every song felt lived in for example, those feel so natural
Don't really agree with OP tbh.
When to Say When - reflects on how far he's come in the game and gives out advice to younger artists to always have your day ones in your corner as they'll always work harder for your success than others. This is hinted at in the intro where he talks about someone asking for help on what to do when they got to the top.
Chicago Freestyle - This one's essentially running us through Drake's current romantic life. He jets into cities, hits up clubs, tries(and fails) to link with old flames, picks a new girl up at the club, has a decent time with her, takes her to a few parties, nice dinners and gets her info before henleaves the city. Might seem like a typical drake concept but there's an underlying tone of jadedness here with how routinely Drake lays it out. He's trying to indicate how stale it's kind of gotten for him but with the Eminem interpolation, he's essentially saying he'll keep trying still.

All of that is meaningless though. There’s no substance to any of it
He’s solely rapping to continue being relevant and earn sales

I just laid out the meanings to the songs so I'll need you to write up something more detailed than that.
Don't really agree with OP tbh.
