He's our MJ in terms of dominance and polarity. But no one will ever get close to MJ ever again. He's out there on his own. He's the benchmark for what every artist tries to achieve in their career and there's a reason Drake has been name dropping him heavy since 2016. Drake wants that level of success he's way beyond caring about just being the best rapper he wants to be up there alongside MJ.
Drake is not even a sliver as popular as mike was

I love MJ, I grew up idolising him, and he is an idol to many if not everybody in the music industry.
But MJ didn't have this many hits. He may have had bigger hits because culturally America listened to the same stuff (not as fragmented as the Internet has made it now) and he became a better known icon.
But he didn't make good music as consistently as Drake. Go listen to his later albums...mostly crap with some standout singles at times.
Drake is our Drake. MJ will never be replaced
This is true. I just meant to say, he will be this generation's huge star like MJ was for his era.
Or maybe we just feel different about the song
Liking it is one thing but you know those MJ comparisons are forced
Drake is our Drake. MJ will never be replaced
Idk why people are so obsessed with trying to replace mike
