I agree about not comparing Michael to Drake, because Drake at this point is his own phenomenon with his own legacy.
I hate when artists get compared to past artists in general.
It’s like comparing Bron and Mike. Different eras, different rules, different everything. But they still put buckets in the basket.
Drake has dominated the streaming era. He didn’t get Artist of the Decade for nothing
Where's the classic Zack first reply post where he says "doesn't need a thread" this time
One has to wonder what's so hard to understand/digest on albums that have songs like HUMBLE, LOVE, DNA, TV Off, Peekaboo and Squabble Up.
Mf picks out six of the catchiest songs from two albums then says “what depth is there to think about?” 😭😭😭
If you think Kendrick hasn’t grown his audience and isn't still getting bigger you’re dumb
The amount he’s done in a year and a half is insane. Winning the beef, A great album, Multiple massive hits and a massive tour
I genuinely think Drake Stan’s/kendrick haters are scared of what he’s gonna do next because it’s been stated by multiple people in his camp he has the next 5 years on lock
Nah, Not Like Us outstreamed it (as well as three other Kendrick songs):

Last one really only took me an hour or two
You need to spend an hour or two on Indeed.com
When liking an artist become your personality
Please quit comparing Michael Jackson to Drake. Holy s*** lol
Or anyone else for that matter
it’s in response to ‘McDonald’s music’
Thriller is the highest selling album of all time, and will be till we die
he is the standard, and I agree super human, and no one can hold a torch. He is king in many metrics and especially numbers
No disrespect to anyone
One has to wonder what's so hard to understand/digest on albums that have songs like HUMBLE, LOVE, DNA, TV Off, Peekaboo and Squabble Up.
Half of that nigga’s discography is Section.80, To Pimp a Butterfly, untitled unmastered, and Mr. Morale
All projects that are not easily digestible
They don't realize how stupid the McDonald's a***ogy is in 2025.
McDonald's is cheap while healthier food is expensive but that doesn't translate to music consumption. All music is being streamed at the same rate. It isn't less expensive streaming Drake's music compared to the music of other artists they believe make better music.
It’s not the best comparison but it makes sense in the aspect that the most popular thing is usually not the most popular because of quality
Half of that nigga’s discography is Section.80, To Pimp a Butterfly, untitled unmastered, and Mr. Morale
All projects that are not easily digestible
You mean you can’t just pick an artist’s most commercial songs and use them to make a judgment about their entire catalogue?
Nobody gives a damn about your respect, sir. The man doesn't know you or any of us here. The point is that you're still contributing to the money he gets to take home every year by listening to his music so your entire point is moot.
nobody cares that you get emotional about the reputation of someone who will never know who you are. im fine with people getting my streaming money, doesnt change the quality of their music or character which in terms of drake is currently trash on both fronts
keep getting worked up cause people don't worship him like you tho, you're in the right place for it ill give you that at least
It’s not the best comparison but it makes sense in the aspect that the most popular thing is usually not the most popular because of quality
also it's not always true that McDonald's is the cheapest
there's a falafel shop in my local city centre that's like the same price but McDonald's is still way more popular
You mean you can’t just pick an artist’s most commercial songs and use them to make a judgment about their entire catalogue?
S*** makes no sense. These are all the projects Kendrick has available on streaming:
Overly Dedicated
Section.80
good kid, m.A.A.d City
To Pimp a Butterfly
untitled unmastered
DAMN.
Black Panther
Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers
GNX
Literally 5/10 of these are not commercially-friendly overall
also it's not always true that McDonald's is the cheapest
there's a falafel shop in my local city centre that's like the same price but McDonald's is still way more popular
It’s not necessarily about price
It’s about branding, advertising and ease of access
Half of that nigga’s discography is Section.80, To Pimp a Butterfly, untitled unmastered, and Mr. Morale
All projects that are not easily digestible
section 80 untitled unmastered and to pimp a butterfly are all easy to digest hell id even say mr morale is too its not really that complex he was just talking about s*** niggas aint wanna hear at the time
