Thank Me Later- Thank Me Later was one of the most anticipated hip hop releases of 2010. Universal Motown Records announced its release date as June 15, 2010. When Thank Me Later was released, it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in the United States and sold 447,000 copies in its first week
Take Care- Take Care debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 631,000 copies.
Nothing Was the Same- Nothing Was the Same debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 658,000 copies. The album has the second highest first week sales of any album in 2013, at the time of its release. It would also be the highest first week sales for a hip hop album since Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV (2011).
Views- Views debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, with 1.04 million album-equivalent units, selling 852,000 copies in its first week of release, and achieving over 245 million streams
Scorpion-Scorpion was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) a day before release due to a technicality that incorporates the track-equivalent units moved by previously released singles "God's Plan", "Nice for What" and "I'm Upset". Scorpion opened atop the Billboard 200 with 732,000 album-equivalent units, which included 160,000 pure album sales, making it the biggest first week of the year at the time. It became his eighth entry in a row to top the chart and broke the country's streaming record with 745.92 million streams in its first week

I thought Scorpion was the album where he finally gets to Taylor Swift and Adele level of debut weeks. I honestly am quiet surprised that it did worse than Views considering it had more hit singles.
Also somewhat surprised about the difference in streams and pure sales... guess it's just the difference of fans. Taylor Swift and Adele fans and just Pop fans in general are the type to buy physical copies more and Drake and Hip Hop fans in general are the type to stream it more.

It was streamed several times more, it’s just the death of pure sales that hurt it and made it virtually impossible to hit the same milli first week. 800k pure vs 160k first week from VIEWS -> Scorpion
this is dope OP but can you bolden the numbers of the first week sales. that way it’s easy to look at for the audience?
put a double star (**) in front of the words / numbers and right at the end of them as well
like:
658,000 copies
@foreverwithdrake you’re legit goated. Keep up the good work

What do you mean? Taylor has released multiple albums since then that have done worse and Adele only has 1 album that performed incredibly well around the same time as Views. I think you're only looking at the numbers from a surface level if you think he didn’t match them.
