I wasn’t defending this verse, and I think you missed the point of Violent Crimes
the song has such a graphic title because despite the pretty beat and the beautiful voices of Shake and Ty$ the point of the song is that the reality of Kanye’s beliefs and fears is disturbing, and the song is basically him unravelling it all with the hook reflecting that the perceived glow about Kanye as a person is coming off and reality is setting in that he is far from perfect
and that’s not to say he hasn’t gotten back on his bullshit in that regard
