the whole point of the song is that he realises that this way of thinking is toxic, and that these thoughts are not rational thoughts they are “Violent (thought) Crimes”

Certified Lover Boy is one of the most disappointing albums of the year, with Drake showcasing literally everything wrong with him as an artist. Certified Lover Boy is literally Drake's worst album because of how pathetically safe Drake played it, with boring dragged on tracks and pretty weak beats with the exception of a few.
It's a shame that the features pretty much carried any song where a feature was present. Certified Lover Boy is an embarrassing new low for Drake and an album that barely has anything going for it, the equivalent of Eminem's 'Revival' in the context of Drake's career.
