If anyone is curious, I figured out how he's counting these towards album sales. They're not actually the (now defunct) "bundles" or the new "fan-packs", it looks like these are going to be counted as "box sets"
According to the updated rules: Loose âbundlesâ of physical or digital albums sold with merchandise, and concert ticket/album sale redemption offers, are no longer permitted; sales of âbox setsâ still count towards the charts, as long as all the items fit into a âfinished goods boxed set/package.â
