August will arrive and we'll still be getting "I got an album coming for you real soon" speeches from his tour

Yep. Announcing s*** to get fans excited and then pump-faking with actually releasing it (for whatever reason) is irresponsible and makes you come off as unprofessional/uncoordinated. Someone at Drake's level shouldn't be moving like that.

I think itâs safe to assume he was ready with the album & book before tour given the fact that they had all the physicals & newpapers loaded up with the QR code. Thugs release probably surprised him & he did a solid. He probably took the time to open the album back up & rework it which is where we are now. The interview was shot the day he was at Memphis University the week before tour because he has the same tee he was spotted in. I think heâs just been waiting for a window to drop since then.
