TurkishAnyone else kinda concerned just a lil bit about this new album? Drake has never ever tried to emulate his old sound before until now. I get that people are gonna say "Nah it won't actually be like old Drake, he's just saying that it will be similar" but my point is, the fact that he's even caving into some of his fans demands of 'wanting the old Drake back' is a lil concerning to me. He outright said that he's tired of fans asking him about it and he's finally giving us the old Drake. This new album might sound like it's trying too hard to sound like Take Care or NWTS. I still have supreme confidence in Drizzy and I think the album will probably be amazing, but ngl I am a little concerned/hesitant to get too hype about it
He did some pretty blatant throwbacks on more life that turned out ok. I think it’ll be fine. I highly doubt it’s gonna try and sound like a 2011-13 Drake album in a literal sense. Prob just meant to evoke those albums in a big picture sense.
