HNVM wasn't a traditional Drake album tho. So we shouldn't equate traditional Drake rollout qualities with it. He made an album focused on one genre he hadn't done before and surprise dropped it. I know it's labelled as a studio album and Drake called it an album but nothing about HNVM feels like an album or a traditional Drake album for that matter. It felt like a side project/experiment and still does when I listen to it. Not saying its not a great project btw

Yeah I agree with you I just legit couldn’t remember if we got any trailer for it after the fact. I know there was a big tribute to Virgil.

The scorpion trailer was so good and created so much more hype for the album for me.

At this point it's too late for a trailer. He already publicly promoted this album as much as he needs to. Everybody already knows a Drake album is coming this summer. I can only see a trailer being a possibility at this point if he plans to drop this album months later

It was more than usual tonight. Drake is not there all the time, so these two nights were an event for them.

Last time he was there they didn’t make a big deal and he played like 3 songs. Just thought maybe he was previewing a little tonight since they were posting a bunch and making a bigger deal of it

I think even a teaser like he did with LNCL would be good even a day before it drops.
