There were multiple respectable sources saying he was dropping an album right before the tour. Thug called in a favor and threw a wrench in the plans. It’s no coincidence that the book and website came out the exact day he was supposed to surprise drop the album. Come on dude it’s not some big mystery that that was the original plan.

no way man lmao, that’s so far from confirmed it’s not funny. nor does it even make any sense as to why he’d still be holding onto the album. coulda dropped the past two weeks realistically. the album seemingly just isn’t ready, or has a planned release day further down the road. unfortunately there is never such a thing as respectable or reliable sources if said source isn’t the artist himself (2 weeks thing was a tease and nothing more)

• Newspaper campaign with QR code 6/24
• First few tour dates are moved 6/24
• Drake phones in MV for Thug on 6/27

He seemingly rearranged the week or two before tour to help out Thug. The summer has been filled with drop after drop from A & B list artists. If he was going to drop an album around tour, it 100% makes sense to do it before going on a 4 month road trip. After this week, there’s no clean drop date the rest of tour.
