Aug 14, 2023Big Dog40 is and always will be the goat. But I think he should start taking the back seat and let someone else step up to the plate to be drakes main engineer. Health is the #1 priority and having another mixing option when albums are due and so forth isn’t a bad thing. I think a lot of the sloppiness from drakes rollouts actually stem from how and who he makes his music with. The leaks are insane for someone of his caliber. And things never get done up until last minute.
I think things never getting done till last minute is pretty typical of rap
As for the mixing, he has access to whoever he wants he could get dean or Dre or party or noel or manny Maroquin or legit whoever but I think he doesn’t want to

There was a breach during CLB era that led to DLDT.
We don't even know if these two recent tracks were for FAT D or not.
He ain't anywhere close to the level of guys like Kanye, Carti, or Thug. Even Trav got a bunch of leaks.
They likely are fatd considering they both got taken down almost immediately but the other leaks are still not taken down
